The Canine Team and Advanced Vehicle Concealment Detection

A two-day workshop providing current canine handlers with a hands-on experience with real world applications dealing with advanced vehicle concealment detection. A foundation of advanced techniques will be provided through classroom instruction and demonstrations by instructors who currently lead the field in this discipline. Students will then locate and bypass concealment devices with the use of their canine partner and visual inspection techniques learned in the course.

• Case law, new technology in locating and seizing fraudulent FTDs used by drug couriers
• Framework of a narcotic search warrant
• Using both K9 partner and tools to locate and defeat concealment devices in multiple scenarios
